The following are road rides which are on the Cooma Cycling Club Calendar. All the rides are "Out and Back" rides starting from corner of Bombala Street and Church Road.

Myalla Road Ride
22.6 km out-and-back with 197m elevation gain. A relatively modest distance and with a small number of short climbs. The majority of road of ride is on quiet country roadway. Very regularly used by road cyclists. Turn around is at start of gravel.

Maffra Road Ride
(Cottage Creek + Pines)
42.7 km out-and-back with 383m elevation gain. It's a climb out but rewarded with most of return down hill. An early climb of 1.5km reaching a maximum grade of 9%. The majority of road of ride is on country roadway. Popular ride for road cyclists.

Shannons Flat Road Ride
55.6 km out-and-back with 723m elevation gain. A fair bit of climbing out, with the challenging "Woolshed Hill" 15km from start, with two section 2km it total. The first section has a maximum grade of 13%. . The majority of road of ride is on country roadway. Turn around is at start of gravel at intersection with Jones Plain Road. If you are not up for the "Woolshed Hill" climb, turn around at the base for a very nice 33km out-and-back.

Slacks Creek Road Ride
44.7 km out-and-back with 669m elevation gain. A fair bit of climbing, mainly on the way out, but no notable climbs. There is about 18 km of riding on highway, 9 km from start and 9 km to finish. The rest of the road is on country roadway.
